FPPC

The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) of California prohibits a public official from using his or her official position to influence a governmental decision in which he or she knows or has reason to know he or she has a financial interest (Gov. Code Section 87100).  To help identify potential conflicts of interst, the law requires officials to file forms called Statements of Economic Interests (SEIs), also known as Form 700s.  This form is also called the Conflict of Interest Form.

The following officers are required to forward their original Form 700 to the FPPC annually:

                        *  Michael Dunsford
                    Councilmembers
                        *  James Barnes
                        *  Gary Kraus
                        *  Irais Lopez-Ortega
                    Planning Commissioners
                        *  Paul Coates
                        *  Scott Cooper
                        *  Tim Wilkes
                        *  Alissa McNair
                        *  Walter Abernathy
                    City Manager
                        *  Dylan Feik
                    Finance Director
                        *  Gloria Leon
                    City Attorney
                        *  Michelle Kenyon
                        *  Karen Murphy

Copies of the statements of economic interest filed by the above-named officers may be obtained by visiting the office of the City Clerk at 1232 Washington Street, Calistoga, CA  94515.  Some elected officer's statements may be available in an electronic format on the FPPC Web site at:
