Officers responded for an illegally parked vehicle in the 1400 block of Second St. Officers located the vehicle, which was blocking a driveway. Officers were unable to locate the owner so they towed the vehicle per 22651(d) CVC.

While on routine patrol, Officers checked on a subject at Riverlea Square. The subject was advised of the Calistoga Municipal Code against camping in the city limits.

Officers responded to check on a “hot dog” in the 1000 block of Myrtle. (No, it was not an early morning barbeque.) Citizens reported a dog was left in a parked vehicle and could possibly be in distress. The vehicle left prior to Officers arrival.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded for a medical call in the 1700 block of Reynard Ln. The involved party was located, evaluated and transported to an area hospital.

Officers responded to check on a “hot dog” in the area of Second St and Washington St. (Nope, still not a barbeque….) Officers located the vehicle and the canine, which was in distress due to the temperature. Officers released the dog from the vehicle and brought him to the Police Station for safe keeping. The owner was later located and cited on an unrelated violation.

Officers responded to check on another “hot dog” in the 1400 block of Lincoln Ave. (This day quickly went to the dogs!) Officers located the vehicle and the puppy, which was thankfully not in any form of distress. Please be aware that the temperatures are getting warmer and a dog in a locked vehicle can quickly become distressed.

Officers responded for an illegally parked vehicle on Cedar St near Lincoln Ave. Officers located the vehicle and issued a citation for partially blocking the driveway.

Officers responded for a hit and run accident in the area of First St and Washington St. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 1300 block of Washington based on information from a witness. During the investigation, the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded for a medical call in the 1300 block of Fairway. The involved party was located, evaluated and transported to an area hospital.

While on routine patrol, Officers located a dog in the parking lot of the Police Station. It is unsure if the canine was trying to volunteer for K9 duty or was just hanging out in the parking lot. Family members were contacted and reunited with the hopeful applicant.

Officers responded for a car alarm sounding in the 1400 block of Lincoln Ave. Officers located the vehicle and determined it was secure. The owner was located and the alarm reset.

Officers responded for a “hot dog” in the 1400 block of Lincoln Ave. (Apparently Calistoga Police Officers do not like donuts.) The vehicle left prior to Officers arrival.

Officers responded to a report of a subject exposing himself near the bike path on Washington St. Officers were unable to locate the subject and will patrol the area.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded to a medical call in the 1400 block of North Oak St. The involved party was located, evaluated and transported to an area hospital.

Officers responded for an alarm sounding in the 800 block of Washington St. The building was located, found to be secure and the alarm was reset.

Officers responded for a “hot dog” in the 1400 block of Lincoln Ave. (I’m running out of puppy puns.) The vehicle left prior to Officers arrival. Please be aware of the temperature and avoid leaving animals locked in vehicles.

Officers responded for a welfare check at Rancho De Calistoga MHP. Family members had not heard from the subject in several days. Officers were unable to locate the subject at home and file a missing person report. Three days later the subject was located in the city of Napa. Family members were updated and put in touch with the subject.

Fire and Officers responded to a possible structure fire in the 1200 block of Tubbs Ln. The fire was located and Officers remained on scene while Calistoga Fire got it under control.

Officers responded to assist a motorist in the 3100 block of Highway 128. The motorist had driven off the roadway and required a tow truck to pull them back onto the road. Officers assisted with traffic control until the vehicle had been recovered.

Officers responded for a possible burglary in the 2400 block of Cedar St. A citizen reported several subjects appeared to be breaking into an empty residence. Officers located the residence and determined it was new tenants moving into the property.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded for a medical call in the 1900 block of Emerald Dr. The involved party was located, evaluated and transported to an area hospital.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded for a medical call in the 2000 block of Urbani Pl. The involved party was located, evaluated and declined transport.

Officers responded for a possible accident on Lincoln Ave near Silverado Trail. Officers located the vehicles and determined it was not an accident. One of the vehicles was having mechanical problems and someone had stopped to assist them.

Officers responded for a disturbance in the 1100 block of Silverado Trail. Several subjects were involved in a verbal dispute. Officers remained on scene while Napa County Sherriff Deputies resolved the situation.

Officers responded to an alarm in the 1100 block of Washington St. The building was located, found to be secure and the alarm was reset.

Officers responded for a loose animal in the Chateau Calistoga MHP. Officers located the canine and family members. Officers counselled the family members about not allowing the dog to run unrestrained in the neighborhood.

Officers responded for a possible intoxicated driver on Highway 29 south of Calistoga. Officers located the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. After an investigation, it was determined the driver was not intoxicated.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded to a medical call in the 2400 block of Debbie Way. The involved party was located, evaluated and declined transport.

Officers responded for an alarm sounding in the 300 block of Silverado Trail. The building was located, found to be secure and the alarm was reset.

Officers responded for a dog at the Calistoga High School. Citizens reported a Labrador mix was running loose in the area. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the canine.

Fire, EMS and Officers responded for a medical call in the 2200 block of Foothill Blvd. The involved party was located, evaluated and transported to an area hospital.

Officers responded for an illegally parked vehicle in the 1400 block of Second St. Officers located the vehicle, which was blocking the street and determined it was a mechanical issue. Officers assisted in pushing the vehicle out of the roadway.

Officers responded for an animal call in the Chateau Calistoga MHP. The same dog from yesterday was found running loose again. The family was contacted and counselled again regarding keeping the dog properly contained on their property.

A citizen came into the Calistoga Police Department to report their vehicle was stolen. During an investigation, Officers determined a possible suspect. Sebastopol Police Department was contacted, as the suspect was believed to be in the Sebastopol Area. No suspect was located, however the vehicle was recovered a short time later in the city of Sebastopol.

Officers responded for a disturbance in the 1600 block of Harley St. Officers contacted the involved parties and determined that an assault had occurred. Officers searched the surrounding area and were unable to locate the suspect.

Officers responded for a tree down in the 1400 block of Cedar St. The storm blew over a large tree which damaged a vehicle. The tree also blocked the door way of the residence. Calistoga Fire responded and assisted in clearing the tree from the door way.

Officers responded for an alarm sounding on Kortum Canyon Rd. The building was located, found to be secure and the alarm was reset.

While on routine patrol, Officers located a possible abandoned vehicle on Brannan St. The vehicle was tagged and forwarded to Vehicle Abatement.

Officers responded for a welfare check in the Rancho De Calistoga MHP. Officers were able to contact the subject, who was in good health, and put them in touch with family members.

Officers responded for an alarm sounding in the 1500 block of Centennial Cir. The building was located, found to be secure and the alarm was reset.

While on routine patrol, Officers checked on two pedestrians in the 1200 block of Washington St. Both subjects were inebriated and one of the subjects was cited for disposing of waste on a city street.
