Bike to Work Day!
On Thursday May 15, 2008, tens of thousands of individuals will put aside their car keys, don their helmets and bike to work. They will be seen on two wheels, big wheels, tandems and hybrids.
Join the thousands from all around the Bay Area on Thursday, May 15! Hop on your bike and bike to work! Stop by the City of Calistoga Energizer Station directly in front of the Police Station at 1235 Washington Street between the hours of 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM and you will be greeted and cheered by City Staff and members of our Bicycle Advisory Committee handing out complimentary treats and tote bags and bicycle commute-related information.
The San Francisco Bay Area’s Bike to Work Day 2008 is presented in part by 511.org. Throughout the Napa Valley and Bay Area promotions are being organized by the Bay Area Bicycle Coalition, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, county congestion management agencies, and hundreds of local volunteers. For more information, visit 511.org or call 511 and say, “bicycling”. Hop on your bike and go!
