Rules for Speaking Before the Calistoga Planning Commission

Unless otherwise noted on the schedule, the Calistoga Planning Commission meets at the Calistoga Community Center on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. Hard copies of the agendas are available in the Planning and Building Department office generally by 4:00 pm on the Friday before the Planning Commission meeting and on the City’s website generally by 8:00am on the Monday prior to the Planning Commission meeting.

The following rules shall apply to the general public when they wish to speak before the Planning Commission at a scheduled Commission meeting:

  • Each speaker will be given three (3) minutes to speak during Oral Communication. If the speaker wishes to comment on a particular agenda item it is preferred that comments are made when that item is being discussed.
  • Speaker's conduct shall be subject to the right of the Chairman to preserve the order and decorum of the forum. If the rules continue to be violated after one warning, the Chairman may revoke the individual's speaking privileges.
