The City of Calistoga has many projects either in planning, design or construction phases at any particular time. Capital Projects are larger improvement projects that require much planning and design. These projects are generally awarded through a public bidding process. Projects, referred to as Capital Projects, include street paving, water and sewer line replacements, stormwater infrastructure, water and sewer treatment plant improvements, and City facility and park improvements. Each year the City goes through a budget review process to determine the need for new projects, and to update the status of projects that are in the planning and design stages.
