The Calistoga Police Department is staffed by the Chief of Police, two Sergeants and eight Police Officers. One of our officers is assigned as our Youth Services Officer/ Investigator funded in part through the federal COPPS Program.

The Police Department provides many of the services found in larger agencies. We accomplish this by training all of our staff members in a variety of collateral duties. In addition to their regular duties, each officer and staff member also serves dual roles such as a Crime Scene Investigator; Bike Patrol Officer; Narcotics Investigator; Gang Officer; DARE Officer or Firearms Instructor to name just a few of our specialties. This philosophy also serves to broaden the level of experience of our officers which results in an effective, efficient and professional law enforcement agency.

Downtown parking enforcement is handled by team of two Parking Enforcement Officers. Our Parking Enforcement Officers are also visible members of the department in the downtown area and provide invaluable service in assisting visitors.
