5. NEW BUSINESS

A. Bicycle Friendly Community – Bronze Award Ceremony November 7th, 2009

The League of American Bicyclists is proud to announce Calistoga as one of our prestigious bronze level Fall 2009 Bicycle Friendly Communities.

B. Transportation Enhancement (TE) Funding

Potential Project: Plant visual hedge screening on lower Washington Bike Path. Would involve moving a fence, planting hedge plants for approx 200-300 feet, and installing reclaimed water drip irrigation. When performed by contract, rough estimate about $20,000.
