2024 Calistoga City Council Regular Meeting Schedule - Resolution 2023-77

Regular meetings of the Calistoga City Council are usually held on Tuesday every 3 weeks at 6:00 PM in the Calistoga Community Center, located at 1307 Washington Street. The public is welcome to attend and participate in all public sessions of the Council. Current Agenda information and staff reports are available online here: https://calistoga.civicweb.net/Portal/ or by calling the City Clerk's Office at 707-942-2807. City Council Meetings are broadcasted live on Channel 28. If you are unable to attend or miss the live broadcast, City Council meetings are re-broadcasted

A) ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Pursuant to provisions of the Government Code §54957, this is the time provided for members of the public to address the city council regarding matters on this agenda (maximum of three minutes per speaker)

B) CALL TO ORDER

1. Conference with Legal Counsel, Existing Litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a):
City of Calistoga v. Grant Reynolds, Napa County Superior Court Case No. 26-46826.

To the scheduled special meeting of the Calistoga City Council, on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 Calistoga Community Center, 1307 Washington Street, 7:00 p.m.

1) Minutes of the August 31, 2010 Special Closed Session and the September 7, 2010 Special Closed Sessions of the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Minutes.

2) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of a donation in the amount of $35,500 from the Felgenhauer Trust for the Calistoga Police Department for the purchase of the replacement police vehicle.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

3) Consideration of a Resolution confirming the Interim City Manager’s Declaration of a Public Emergency to repair a water line leak on Foothill Boulevard at Lincoln Avenue.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

4) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute Memorandum of Understanding with the Calistoga Police Officer’s Association.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

5) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute Memorandum of Understanding with the Calistoga Professional Firefighter’s Association.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolutions.

8) Consideration of a Resolution rescinding Resolution No. 2010-086 regarding the creation of a sub-committee regarding the recruitment of a new City Manager, and confirming the Councils’ appointments thereto with the addition of the appointment of the City Clerk.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

H) PUBLIC HEARING
9) Public Hearing to get citizen input regarding water and wastewater rate recommendations.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: To approve the rate studies and direct staff to present the ordinances at the October 5, 2010 City Council meeting.
