2024 Calistoga City Council Regular Meeting Schedule - Resolution 2023-77

Regular meetings of the Calistoga City Council are usually held on Tuesday every 3 weeks at 6:00 PM in the Calistoga Community Center, located at 1307 Washington Street. The public is welcome to attend and participate in all public sessions of the Council. Current Agenda information and staff reports are available online here: https://calistoga.civicweb.net/Portal/ or by calling the City Clerk's Office at 707-942-2807. City Council Meetings are broadcasted live on Channel 28. If you are unable to attend or miss the live broadcast, City Council meetings are re-broadcasted

1) Introduction of Olivia Lemen, Aquatics and Recreation Manager.

2) Proclamation honoring California Arbor Day Celebration Week (March 7-14).

H) PRESENTATION
3) Presentation by Napa County Assessor John Tuteur regarding trends in Calistoga property values and tax assessments for 2009/2010.

4) Presentation update by Rex Albright, Calistoga Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, regarding local economic conditions and Visitor Center activities.

I) CONSENT CALENDAR
The following items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and are approved by a single motion. The Mayor or any member of the City Council or of the public may request that any item listed under the Consent Calendar be removed and action taken separately. In the event that an item is removed from the Consent Calendar, it shall be considered in its numerical order.

5) Accounts payable for the period ending Thursday, February 12, 2009
($1,001,608.94).
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve payables.

6) Minutes of the January 22, 2009 regular City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Minutes.

7) Appointment of Megan Hunt to the Community Resources Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION. Adopt Resolution.

8) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing a non-routine encroachment permit for an ornamental steel fence at 1314 Lillie Street.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

J) PUBLIC HEARING
9) Consideration of an Ordinance amending Title 13, Public Services, Chapter 13.08.270 Sewer Service - Reimbursement Agreement of the Calistoga Municipal Code, to remove sunset timelines for repayment.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Introduce Ordinance and waive the first reading.

K) GENERAL GOVERNMENT
10) Water supply availability update and consideration of a Resolution to proactively declare a water emergency and urge Stage One voluntary water conservation measures.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive presentation, discuss and consider adopting a Resolution.

11) Consideration of a Resolution approving the plans and specifications for the Calistoga Fire Station Seismic Retrofit and Rehabilitation Project, authorizing the advertising for bids, directing the City Manager to negotiate a Lease Agreement for the use of property as a temporary facility during rehabilitation efforts, and authorizes a budget adjustment of $249,007 from the Public Safety Fund.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.
