2024 Calistoga City Council Regular Meeting Schedule - Resolution 2023-77

Regular meetings of the Calistoga City Council are usually held on Tuesday every 3 weeks at 6:00 PM in the Calistoga Community Center, located at 1307 Washington Street. The public is welcome to attend and participate in all public sessions of the Council. Current Agenda information and staff reports are available online here: https://calistoga.civicweb.net/Portal/ or by calling the City Clerk's Office at 707-942-2807. City Council Meetings are broadcasted live on Channel 28. If you are unable to attend or miss the live broadcast, City Council meetings are re-broadcasted

h) COUNCIL REQUESTS AND IDEAS FOR DISCUSSION

i) CONSENT CALENDAR
The following items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and are approved by a single motion. The Mayor or any member of the City Council or of the public may request that any item listed under the Consent Calendar be removed and action taken separately. In the event that an item is removed from the Consent Calendar, it shall be considered in its numerical order.

2) Accounts payable for the period ending Friday, October 15, 2009.
($160,482.78.)
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve payables.

3) Minutes of the October 6, 2009 regular City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Minutes.

4) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing a professional services agreement in the amount of $30,000 with Housing Authority of the City of Napa.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

5) Consideration of a Resolution confirming the Mayor’s appointments to the Napa City-County Library Commission and the Community Resources Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

6) Consideration of a Municipal Code Amendment (CMC 2009-01) initiated by the City Council to amend Chapter 19.02 Growth Management System to provide provisions for the administrative processing of growth management allocations.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Ordinance.

7) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing a Non-Routine Encroachment for an ornamental steel fence at 41 Arch Way.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

j) PUBLIC HEARING
8) Consideration of a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment (ZO 2009-03), initiated by the City of Calistoga, to amend the bed and breakfast regulations and other requirements pertaining to such use.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Introduce Ordinance and waive its first reading.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive report.

K) GENERAL GOVERNMENT
10) Receive update regarding use, sale, and lease options for the City’s waterline properties between Big Tree Lane and Lodi Lane.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and provide direction.

11) Presentation regarding Fiscal Year 2009/2010 General Fund Budget Update and Forecast
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive presentation, discuss, and provide direction.


12) Consideration of a Resolution approving the form of and authorizing the execution and delivery of a Purchase and Sale Agreement and related documents with respect to the sale of the Seller’s Proposition 1A Receivable from the State; and directing and authorizing certain other actions in connection therewith.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive update.

    • Urban Design Plan update; 
    • Housing Element status update; 
    • Status of the Bounsall and Enchanted Resort Memorandums of 
       Understanding Subcommittee; 
    • Update regarding Napa County Environmental Management 
       (Health Department) public meeting held in Calistoga on October 15th. 

n) CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNMENT
