During this time period anyone may comment to the Community Resources Commission (CRC) regarding any subject over which the Community Resources Commission has jurisdiction, or request consideration to place an item on a future agenda of the Community Resources Commission. If you wish to comment on an item that is on this agenda, please hold your comments until the item is heard. Individuals will be limited to a three-minute presentation. No action can be taken by the Community Resources Commission as a result of public comment other than to place the matter on a future agenda.

1) Introduction of Amanda Davis, new Executive Secretary to the City Manager and staff support for the CRC.

E) GENERAL GOVERNMENT
2) Adoption of meeting minutes of the CRC meeting on April 21, 2010, May 19, 2010 and July 21, 2010.

3) Presentation of Community Resource Division Draft of department Strategic Plan.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and provide direction.

4) Presentation of Draft Special Events Ordinance.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and pass a motion to recommend the proposed Special Events Ordinance to Planning Commission and City Council.

5) Presentation of Draft for Special Events Rental Structure.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and provide direction to staff regarding next steps and fees.

6) Prioritize actions contained in Napa Countywide Community Climate Action Framework and confirm the underlying local actions to achieve the City’s reduction target established pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 2009-070.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive presentation, discuss and recommend that certain high priority actions be implemented as part of the Community Resources Commission’s work program.
