2024 Calistoga City Council Regular Meeting Schedule - Resolution 2023-77

Regular meetings of the Calistoga City Council are usually held on Tuesday every 3 weeks at 6:00 PM in the Calistoga Community Center, located at 1307 Washington Street. The public is welcome to attend and participate in all public sessions of the Council. Current Agenda information and staff reports are available online here: https://calistoga.civicweb.net/Portal/ or by calling the City Clerk's Office at 707-942-2807. City Council Meetings are broadcasted live on Channel 28. If you are unable to attend or miss the live broadcast, City Council meetings are re-broadcasted

F) APPRECIATION AWARD
1) Certificate of appreciation for Sergeant Matthew Freese and retiring police dog Bono.
2) Presentation by Chief Campbell regarding fire conditions and preparedness.

G) CONSENT CALENDAR
The following items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and are approved by a single motion. The Mayor or any member of the City Council or of the public may request that any item listed under the Consent Calendar be removed and action taken separately. In the event that an item is removed from the Consent Calendar, it shall be considered in its numerical order.

3) Accounts payable for the period ending Thursday, July 10, 2008.
(Total amount of $ 1,328,614.73).

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve payables.

4) Minutes of the Special Goal Session Meetings on May 27, 2008 and May 28, 2008; the minutes of the regular City Council Meeting on June 17, 2008;.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Minutes.

5) Consideration of a Resolution confirming the Mayor’s appointments of a Voting Delegate and Alternate Delegate for the 2008 League of California Cities Conference.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

H) PUBLIC HEARING
6) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the levying and collection of assessments for the Palisades Landscape Maintenance District for Fiscal Year 2008-09.
RECOMMENDED ACTION. Adopt Resolution.

7) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the levying and collection of assessments for the Silverado Place Landscape Maintenance District for Fiscal Year 2008-09.
RECOMMENDED ACTION. Adopt Resolution.

I) GENERAL GOVERNMENT
8) To receive a report regarding the City’s Floodplain Management regulations and a summary of Flood Hazard Area mapping changes adopted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
RECOMMENDED ACTION. Receive report and discuss.

10) Consideration of a Resolution establishing a stipend of $50.00 per meeting for the Planning Commission pursuant to Calistoga Municipal Code Section 2.21.
RECOMMENDED ACTION. Adopt Resolution.
