The following items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and are approved by a single motion. The Mayor or any member of the City Council or of the public may request that any item listed under the Consent Calendar be removed and action taken separately. In the event that an item is removed from the Consent Calendar, it shall be considered in its numerical order.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve payables.
4) Minutes of the December 15, 2009 and January 5, 2010 regular City Council meetings; and minutes of the January 13, 2009 Special Joint Planning Commission and City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Minutes.
5) Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of a donation in the amount of $250 from Roman Spa Hot Springs Resort.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution.

6) Consideration of an appeal of the Planning Commission’s decision to approve a Conditional Use Permit Amendment (U 2000-06(A)) to allow indoor live entertainment at La Prima Pizza, 1923 Lake Street (APN 011-535-010).
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution denying the appeal and sustaining the Planning Commission’s action.

J) GENERAL GOVERNMENT
8) Consideration of a request by Yasmin Ali for Council to set a date certain for hearing an appeal regarding the Planning Commission’s approval of a Design Review Application to install canopies over the existing fuel pump islands at Shell gas located at 1108 Lincoln Avenue (APN 011-254-003).
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Take action to set a date certain for the hearing on the appeal.

Planning Commission Resolution No. 2009-20
9) Consideration of a request by the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce for financial participation in the rental of an advertising billboard.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and provide direction.
10) Consideration of a request by Councilmember Kraus to reduce the stipend provided to the City Council and the Planning Commission by ten percent.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and provide direction, and possibly adopt a Resolution.
